"You were all so helpful and considerate to the children ( and me to ) during the early 'settling- in days' You have helped them to grow in confidence and develop their Independence. Your attitude to anxious children, in particular, is genuinely caring. Academically, Joesph and Eve have come on leaps and bounds since starting at Smallworld. The 1-1 interaction they received has been invaluable. As far as social development is concerned your positive attitude towards acquiring social skills and also your very caring approach to discipline can not be faulted. I would recommend you without reservation to any other mum or dad looking for a caring, safe and constructive environment for their pre-school child"......Hilary Malam

"Francesca loved coming to Smallworld, she got so excited and came home full of enthusiasm, bursting to tell us what she had been doing. Smallworld was the first place we had to leave Francesca and this was a real wrench for us, but you all have been absolutely wonderful. You all got to know Francesca and helped her develop and progress over the two years she was with you and we know that Smallworld played an important part in this.
We would like to thank you all for helping our baby grow into the little girl she is today"......Mrs Vismara.

Rising 5's
This session is offered from September through to July for the children who will be starting school. The days for the Rising 5 sessions will be confirmed.

During this session we shall be working towards the basic skills for helping your child prepare for school with support from the reception teacher.

The children will have the opportunity to visit the school on a number of occasions and this will result in a smoother transition.

Rising 5 children will have the opportunity to have 'school' visits and take part in weekly P.E sessions held in the school hall. More information will be given once your child has started his/her session.

All rising 5 children receive a book bag which holds a book chosen on a weekly basis by the child to look at home and any 'important' work your child completes in the this session will be popped inside it.

SmallWorld believe it is essential to provide children with positive healthy eating experiences in order to promote their wellbeing, therefore we operate a healthy approach to snacks.

Early Years Foundation Stage
The EYFS is a single quality framework to support children’s learning and development for Birth to 5 years.
This framework recognises children as individuals and competent learners. For all children learning begins at birth.
The EYFS will help practitioners provide appropriate play experiences to enable your child to develop in all areas of learning. Practitioners will recognise your child’s strengths and areas they need more support to develop new skills.
